About Pendleton® 1910 12 Year Old Rye Whisky Pendleton® 1910 Rye Whisky is a rare, 100% rye whisky crafted to celebrate the spirit of American cowboys—a heritage of living boldly, drinking well, and savoring every moment. Named after the inaugural year of the Pendleton Round-Up, one of the most prestigious and legendary rodeos held in northeast Oregon for over a century, Pendleton® 1910 pays homage to this iconic event.
Pendleton is the official spirit of ProRodeo and the official whisky of PBR, embodying the rugged yet refined spirit of the American West. This whisky is meticulously aged for a minimum of 12 years in oak barrels, allowing the rich flavors to mature and develop complexity. It is then cut to proof with pristine glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood, Oregon’s highest peak, giving it a distinctive character that reflects its Pacific Northwest roots.
Pendleton® 1910 Whisky has a golden amber color and offers a well-rounded, full-bodied aroma with nutmeg, cloves, and hints of dried pineapple. On the palate, you’ll find muted tropical notes, apples, and dried cherries, complemented by nutty toffee undertones. The whisky finishes with a medium-dry profile and lingering notes of tart cherry.
Whether enjoyed neat or in a classic cocktail, this whisky is crafted for those who appreciate authenticity and quality.
